Nov. 9 Proposals for new/innovative summer courses, Summer Forums, Windows on the World, and Distance Education Initiatives Program due at Dean of Continuing Studies Office.

Dec. 3 Descriptive information for new and/or special summer programs due at Division of Continuing Studies for Summer Timetable.

Dec. 10 Summer Timetable final updates to Timetable and Classroom Scheduling Office.

2008 DATES

Jan. 2 Final formatted Summer Timetable pages available for departments to proof at Timetable and Classroom Space Office.

Jan. 16 Summer Timetable on Web.

Jan. 28 Summer Timetable (print version) published by Division of Continuing Studies.

Feb. 15 Deadline for summer marketing requests to Division of Continuing Studies from school/college deans’ offices.

Mar. 31 Summer enrollment begins.

Mar. 17 School/college budgets due in Madison Budget Office.

May 26 Memorial Day observed.

May 27 Three-Week Early Session begins.

June 16 Eight-Week General Session and First Four-Week Session begin.

July 4 Independence Day—no classes.

July 14* Department Instructional Report (DIR) call mailed to departments.
