Q. I'm a continuing UW-Madison student, do I need to apply for
Summer Sessions?
A. No, continuing UW-Madison students simply Web-enroll
beginning in March.
Q. I want to be a new or transfer UW-Madison student beginning in
summer. What is the procedure?
A. New, reentry, or transfer students must first be admitted
to UW-Madison to qualify for summer Web enrollment. See Admissions.
Once admitted, you'll be given class enrollment instructions.
Q. I am attending Summer Sessions to take classes for credit
but not toward a degree. How do I enroll?
A. You need to be admitted to the University as a
nondegree University Special student. See University
Special and Guest Students for more information and a link to the
application form.
Q. Are my course credits transferable
to another college or university?
A. In most cases the answer is yes, but
check with your home campus to be sure.
Q. How much does it cost to attend
UW-Madison Summer Sessions?
A. You pay by the credit based on your classification
and residency status. See Tuition Information.
Q. What if I decide to drop all my classes once I've enrolled for summer
school?
A. It is important to officially "withdraw" from
your classes if you decide to drop your entire program. Your fee obligation
is based on withdrawal date.

changes related to summer class offerings, enrollment, tuition/fees,
and more?
