The WWEN Connection Newsletter

Our newsletter is dedicated to keeping our readers up to date on what WWEN is doing and where it is going. Subscribe to receive the newsletter by e-mail. (When you click on "subscribe", your e-mail program should automatically open a new message. No need to type anything, just press "send".)

  • Putting a Face to Recovery: written each quarter by a different woman living her recovery and giving hope and inspiration to all women.

  • Focus on Treatment: a Wisconsin women’s treatment center is highlighted by conducting an interview with the director or program manager. The article focuses on issues such as pregnancy, creative expression, missions, methods of treatment, skill plans, self-esteem and more.

  • Staying Current: keeps our readers up-to-date on the latest research on addiction as a brain disease, new models of women’s treatment and other issues related to women and addiction such as family issues, domestic violence, adolescents and pregnancy. As watchdogs, we keep alert for the latest or pending legislation that might impact women with alcohol and drug addiction issues.
