A woman from social services came and told me, she said “Mary,” she said, (I've been knowing this woman for quite a long time) and she said, “We're kind of watching you and we think you're getting a little out of control here. And if things don't turn around, if you don't turn things around, we're going to take your kids.” And there was no way... I couldn't let that happen, you know. I didn't realize I had progressed that far. So that was, you know, the little nudge that, you know, let me know that I had really crossed over that invisible line, so to say, into addiction. I wasn't aware I was in it.
