Whether you are checking your boss' correspondence or your own, looking over reports, or editing a publication, this workshop can help you catch embarrassing errors and achieve a polished writing style. It also offers an opportunity to share with fellow professionals your experience working with the editorial process.
We cover your specific questions on proofreading and practice marking up a copy in a series of copyediting and proofreading exercises. You are encouraged to bring in a copy of what you typically proofread or copyedit on the job as well as examples from published materials with errors.
