How to Register

Register by phone-- 608-262-2451 (WI Relay 711) or 1-800-725-9692 7:00 am-4:30 pm Monday thru Friday. Call and charge the program fee to your VISA, MasterCard or American Express account. Please have all the necessary information handy before you call.

Register by mail--Print the continuing education registration form available here or cut it from the back cover of the program catalog. Use one form for each program. Include a separate check to cover the fee for each workshop in which you enroll. Two or more people enrolling in the same program may send a single check. Send your registration forms and checks made payable to UW-Madison to: The Madison Registration Office, Pyle Center, 702 Langdon St., Madison, WI 53706.

PDF registration form--Our registration form is also available as a pdf document. You will need Adobe Acrobat Reader to access it. View PDF registration form.

Register online--You can register online for most programs. If available, this option will be listed with the program description.

Register by fax--265-3163 or toll-free: 800-741-7416.
You can send your registration form by fax if you pay by credit card or provide a purchase order number.

Register in person--Bring your registration form to the Madison Registration Office, Pyle Center, 702 Langdon St. (map) The office is open from 7:45 am to 4:30 pm, Monday through Friday.

Register early--Registrations are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. To find out if a program with limited enrollment is still open, call 608-262-2451. Late enrollments are accepted if there is room in the class.

Refunds--Refund and cancellation policies differ from program to program. Please see individual program brochures and pages for cancellation information or call Registrations at 1-800-442-4617 or 608-262-2451.

Cancellation of classes-- In the event of bad weather or other emergencies, call 608-263-4432 to learn whether a Continuing Studies program or class has been cancelled. Cancellation information will also be posted at: www.dcs.wisc.edu. Notification for daytime programs will be available by 7 am; for programs occurring after 4 pm notification will be available by 2:30 pm. If a single program is cancelled, you will be notified by phone; please include phone numbers on your registration.

Cancellation policy: If you are unable to attend or arrange for a substitute, you may obtain a refund minus the $20 administrative fee by contacting our registration department at least 3 business days prior to the program. If you cancel 3 business days or less before the program, or do not attend, you are responsible for the entire fee. To cancel or arrange for a substitute, please call 800-725-9692.
