How to Register
Register by phone-- 608-262-7942 (TDD 265-2370)
or 1-800-725-9692 7 am-4:30 pm Monday thru Friday. Call and charge the
program fee to your VISA, MasterCard or American Express account. When
you register by phone, we'll fill out the registration for you. Please
have all the necessary information handy before you call.
Register by mail--Print the registration
form available here or cut it from the back cover of the program catalog.
Use one form for each program. Include a separate check to cover the fee
for each workshop in which you enroll. Two or more people enrolling in
the same program may send a single check. Send your registration forms
and checks made payable to UW-Madison to: The Madison Registration Office,
Pyle Center, 702 Langdon St., Madison, WI 53706.

Register online--It is possible to register
online for some of our programs. If online registration is available for
a program, this option will be listed with the program description. You may also find it listed on our online registration page.

You can send your registration form by fax if
you pay by credit card or provide a purchase order number.
Register in person--Bring your registration
form to the Madison Registration Office, 702 Langdon St. The office
is open from 7:45 am to 4:30 pm, Monday through Friday.
Register early--Registrations are accepted
on a first-come, first-served basis. To find out if a program with limited
enrollment is still open, call 608-262-7942. Late enrollments are accepted
if there is room in the class.
Refunds--Refund and cancellation policies
differ from program to program. Please see individual program brochures
and pages
for cancellation information or call Registrations at 1-800-442-4617
or 608-262-7942.
Cancellation of classes-- Noncredit classes
are cancelled if other classes on the UW-Madison campus are cancelled
due to weather or other emergencies. Madison-area radio and TV stations
announce cancellations. If a single program is cancelled, you will be
notified by phone. Please include your daytime and evening phone numbers
on the registration form.
Cancellation policy: If you are unable to participate in a group class or arrange for a substitute, you may obtain a refund minus the $20 administrative fee by contacting our registration department at least 3 business days prior to the program. If you cancel 3 business days or less before the program, or do not participate, you are responsible for the entire fee. To cancel or arrange for a substitute, please call 800-725-9692. No refund is given for cancellation of an Independent Study class. Exceptions to this policy will be determined by CPM program staff on a case-by-case basis.
