About Credit
Credit is awarded after full-day participation. Partial credit is not awarded; late arrivals or early departures preclude awarding CE credits.
CEUs:
The conference is approved for 6.0 CE hours per day (0.6 CEU/day).
The University of Wisconsin-Madison defines one (1.0) continuing education unit (CEU) as ten hours of participation in an organized continuing education event under responsible sponsorship, capable direction, and qualified instruction. For example: 1.2 CEUs equals 12 hours of continuing education credits.
Social Workers
The University of Wisconsin–Madison, Professional Development and Applied Studies (PDAS), (Provider #1042), is approved as a provider for social work continuing education by the Association of Social Work Boards (ASWB), (1-800- 225-6880) through the Approved Continuing Education (ACE) program. PDAS maintains responsibility for the program. Social workers will receive continuing education clock hours for completing this course (see above for appropriate number of continuing education clock hours). Play Therapy
