Senior Outreach Specialist

Service Available: Customized on-site training on fetal alcohol spectrum disorders (FASD) and related issues.
Areas of Expertise: Short and long term outcomes associated with maternal alcohol consumption, including fetal alcohol spectrum disorders; working with families and communities affected by FASDs, preventing alcohol-exposed pregnancies.
Educational programming can be tailored to meet the needs of the organization, audience and community; and be provided onsite and/or via distance education technology.
A wide variety of audiences including middle, high school and college students; K–12 educators and school support staff; a range of health and human services providers; family members; and communities.
Kristi Obmascher has nearly 20 years of experience conducting highly evaluated and sustainable outreach and education programs addressing alcohol, pregnancy, and related issues.
The Department of Professional Development & Applied Studies is a part of the University of Wisconsin-Madison Division of Continuing Studies.
