Inclusive organizations are ones where people of diverse social and cultural groups, (e.g., gender, race, ethnicity, class, disability, LGBT), all people, experience uncompromising respect and dignity in an atmosphere of non-judgment and genuine acceptance. Inclusive organizations value and actively encourage multiple experiences and perspectives, creating a positive, collaborative environment in which people feel safe to be themselves, and are able to contribute their best work to the organization.
The goals of this workshop are to create a safe forum to engage in self-reflection and dialogue with others about inclusivity. Participants will:
Kathy Germann has conducted workshops on a broad range of human relations issues since 1982. Her audiences have included educators, clergy, and professionals working in human services, health care, law enforcement and business. In addition to teaching on three college campuses she is a former director of a YWCA and manager of a training unit in a human services agency. As a member of a management team, she took a leadership role in an agency-wide multicultural organizational development process. Kathy currently operates her own consulting and training business specializing in diversity issues, conflict resolution, team-building and training design.

Registration deadline: Enrollment is limited. In order to ensure your place in the program and to help us accommodate you, we ask that you register as early as possible.
Cancellation policy: If you are unable to attend or arrange for a substitute, you may obtain a refund minus the $20 administrative fee by contacting our registration department at least 3 business days prior to the program. If you cancel 3 business days or less before the program, or do not attend, you are responsible for the entire fee. To cancel or arrange for a substitute, please call 800-725-9692.Accommodations: Please make your own travel and lodging arrangements. Approved continuing education credit: 0.7 continuing education unit (CEU) will be awarded for the one-day workshop. The program falls within the subject matter identified by the following organizations for continuing education credits.
