Other programs

The National Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorders (FASD) Conference is a one-day conference sharing the latest information and strategies for providers, families, and communities affected by FASD.

Boys and Girls at Risk: the emerging science of gender differences is a conference that examines boys and girls at risk from a gender sensitive perspective. It combines adolescent brain research with a gender responsive approach to programming in a variety of settings.

Intoxicated Driver Training Program: The University of Wisconsin-Madison, Department of Professional Development and Applied Studies (PDAS) provides the Approved Assessor Training for the Intoxicated Driver Program (IDP) for the State of Wisconsin. This is a state mandated training (HFS 62) - all intoxicated Driver Program assessors and supervisors are required to satisfactorily complete Part I and Part II of the IDP training. In addition, all trained assessors must receive 6 hours of continuing education training each year.

The Wisconsin Women's Education Network on Addiction, Recovery and Prevention (WWEN) is a a grant-funded outreach project for anyone interested in women's treatment, recovery and prevention. Visit the WWEN Web site at http://www.dcs.wisc.edu/pda/wwen. (Contact Chris Dunleavy, 608-265-4267.)
