Through professional development programs UW-Madison Continuing Studies connects you with leaders in a wide range of fields via workshops, classes, conferences, and consultations. All of our programs qualify for Continuing Education Units (CEU) and many courses are approved for specific licensure renewal credits.

Partnerships: Professional Development and Applied Studies partners with academic and professional organizations to offer the most useful continuing education experience possible. Examples of "partners" include: The Wisconsin Departments of Workforce Development, Agriculture, Trade and Consumer Protection, and Health and Family Services; UWMadison Departments of Curriculum and Instruction, Sociology, Clinical Genetics and the School of Social Work; private agencies such as Family and Sexual Abuse Treatment, Inc., Wisconsin Association of Mediators, and the Association of Family Conciliation Courts.
