Partnerships: Professional Development and Applied Studies partners with academic and professional organizations to offer the most useful continuing education experience possible. Examples of "partners" include: The Wisconsin Departments of Workforce Development, Agriculture, Trade and Consumer Protection, and Health and Family Services; UW—Madison Departments of Curriculum and Instruction, Sociology, Clinical Genetics and the School of Social Work; private agencies such as Family and Sexual Abuse Treatment, Inc., Wisconsin Association of Mediators, and the Association of Family Conciliation Courts.
