Join UW-Madison as we return to the Edinburgh International Festival for the 39th year! With our premier access to the best seats in the house, you can not find a better way to experience this extraordinary event.
Spend eight days in the medieval city of Edinburgh attending innovative and inspired performances by some of the greatest artists and companies working today. Your experience is enhanced by our morning seminars with experts in the fields of music, theatre and dance, who provide insights into the creative process, and our fascinating tours of the city and countryside by licensed local guides who are intimate with the history and lore of this wonderful culture.
With ample time to attend performances of the exciting Fringe festival, seminars at the International Book Festival, exhibits at the top-notch museums and dozens of art galleries in the city, this is truly an opportunity like no other.

All performances, seminars and tours in bold are included in the package price. Optional performances are not included in the package price, but are available for purchase. You have the choice of attending the evening package performance or choosing the alternative performance on August 21. August 23rd is a free day. You may purchase one of our optional tickets, or you may make other arrangements for that day/evening. Additional information about all of these performances is available upon request.

A performance by the Scottish Ballet with music provided by the Orchestra of Scottish Opera. The ballet will dance a mixed program of'Agon' by Balanchine, to the music of Stravinsky; 'Afternoon of a Faun' by Jerome Robbins, to the music of Debussy; 'Two Pieces for Het' by van Manen, to the music of Tuur and Part; and 'In Light and Shadow' by Pastor, to the music of J.S. Bach. |

Our group will reside at the following locations on the University of Edinburgh campus:
Chancellor's Court conference center, which offers single and twin (two-bedded) accommodations. Chancellor's Court is a new facility with attractive, convenient and secure accommodations, including a snack bar, laundry facilities, elevators and private baths.
Masson House, which offers single and twin (one queen-size bed) accommodations. Masson House is a newer adult conference center with smaller rooms and private baths and convenient to our group activities.
Package price covers single rooms at Masson House and twin-bedded rooms at Chancellor's Court. See registration form for additional lodging options. All lodging available on a first-come, first-served basis.
$2,299 per person based on double occupancy; plus air. Price includes premier seating at all performances, lodging, transfers, lecturers, guides and two meals per day. Airfare is not included in this price. Upon receipt of your deposit our travel agent will contact you to arrange your flight, if you desire. If you plan to make your own air arrangements, you must contact us first to confirm space/ground arrangements. As with all of our trips, you are welcome to arrive ahead of us or depart later, and we will assist you in any way that we can. However, we are not able to acquire tickets for any performances other than the ones listed here.
