Arts and Humanities Seminars Abroad

The Arts and Humanities Seminars Abroad Program was created to enable adults, whether affiliated with the university or not, a chance to experience unique travel opportunities with others who enjoy world-class performances and exciting destinations.

For over thirty years, we have been bringing educational travel experiences to performing arts enthusiasts, and we will be expanding our offerings to include archaeology, anthropology, visual arts and history destinations in the coming months. Our international travel seminars include:

Edinburgh International Festival of Music, Drama and Dance 2006

This educational study tour to the Edinburgh International Festival in Scotland is offered each August. Attend symphony, chamber music, opera, dance and theatre performances plus the Military Tattoo. Morning lectures leave ample time for individual afternoon pursuits, including the exciting Fringe Festival held throughout the city. Price includes all meals, lectures, excellent tickets, city transportation and university staff services. Unscheduled time is also included throughout the program.
