Information on the Financial Assistance Program

Thank you for inquiring about the SOA Financial Assistance Program. A variety of contributors allocate funds to be distributed for as an award which covers 80% of instructional fees for the recipient. Criteria include a combination of factors such as financial need; artistic goals, accomplishment or skill level; potential contributions to others as a result of their SOA experience; chosen career; and recommendations or references.
Please note that previous financial assistance history may affect your eligibility. If you have received an award for the past two consecutive years, you are not eligible for an SOA 2010 award but can apply again for SOA 2010.
How to apply
The Financial Assistance Application Form and the SOA Registration Form will be available in March 2010. Please note that classes fill quickly so you are encouraged to apply early. Please note that online and phone registration are not available for Financial Assistance applicants.
