The Business Spanish Certificate Program is an oral/written proficiency-based language program which integrates the Spanish language and culture study with the general study of business practices in Spanish and Latin American contexts. These classes provide a unique opportunity
to learn functional business Spanish language skills.
Benefit from an informal setting which provides many opportunities for interaction with your instructor, business colleagues, featured guest speakers and other participants.
Certificate program: You can earn a Business Language Certificate in Business Spanish by successfully completing the fall Business Spanish Language course and the winter/spring Business Spanish course. The Business Spanish course is also offered online.Presented by the University of Wisconsin-Madison, Division of Continuing Studies, and the School of Business Center for International Business Education and Research (CIBER).

This course provides a basic review of Spanish language and grammar. We work with common business documents such as letters, resumes, memos and business cards, and we explore cultural issues and specific vocabularies. Prerequisite: one year of Spanish or instructor's consent.

If you are unable to attend regularly scheduled classes on campus you can explore other options. The Business Spanish Program can be completed as an online course. Please contact Antonio Noguera at 608-262-5929 for more information, or visit the Web page for online Spanish.
You may take any of the individual courses without enrolling for the certificate program.
It is possible to start the certificate program with Level II, if you have some previous experience. Please contact the faculty member for that language area to see if you qualify.
If you wish to register now you may:

2) Print, complete and mail the UW-Madison Continuing Studies registration form.

4) Online registration is available for these programs. See the individual class descriptions for links to online registration forms.
If a program is cancelled, we will notify you by phone. You will receive a full refund. If you must withdraw from a program, please notify us in writing at least 7 days prior to the program. A $20 administrative fee will be assessed. No refund will be issued if you withdraw less than 7 days before a program begins. You may substitute another person for your registration up to the first night of class.
