Corrections to Course Guide for H600-H20, Geometry I

Please help other students by pointing out any errors you notice in the Course Guide. If you're not sure whether it's an error, or you've just misunderstood something, ask!

Lesson 1

In Key to Self-Examination, p. 157, the solution given for #35 is really the solution for #33. In #35, x = 3. (TR)
In Key to Self-Examination, p. 158, the solution given for #37 contains an algebra error. The correct value of y is 6. (TR)

Lesson 4

In Key to Self-Examination, the solution given for #29 is really the solution for #28. The solution to #29 involves showing that lines XD and XF are perpendicular.(TR)

Self-Test 9

On page 186 of the course guide, the solution listed for #11 is actually the solution for #13. In #11, triangles ABC and BST are congruent, by ASA.(TR)
