This series of workshops, lectures and master classes highlight diverse dance styles taught by acclaimed artists. Opportunities to work closely with dance masters are limited in the Madison area. To meet the needs of Madison's growing dance interest, these exciting events introduce dance artists and teachers to the community who share their knowledge of dance, through master classes, dance technique workshops and free public lectures. This series provides opportunity, experience, and education for local dancers and dance enthusiasts of all levels. All events and classes are open to the public.
Some classes require pre-registration and a class fee—details follow. For more information please contact Maureen Janson at 608-263-8927 mjanson@dcs.wisc.edu.
Please check back soon for updates on the 2008-2009 schedule of events.
