The WRAP Award Winners
Ken Weeden (262) 248-3906"Honfleur" - watercolor/ink "All my watercolors are from photos. I took this one last fall on a trip in France. I loved the look of these old 15th century "high-rise" homes and their reflections in the inner harbor in the town of Honfleur. I wanted to capture the light created by fast-moving cumulus clouds on that sunny fall day. The original sketch is in pencil, then inked with micro pen. Mask is then used on all whites (except the sky), then watercolor washes applied wet-into-dry. The sky is wet-into-wet along with the water."
