Karen Lenhart (906) 358-4473"Dance of the Aurora Moon-Bear" - watercolor "I enjoy many avenues of artistic expression from carving and rustic furniture making to pyrography and painting. My greatest satisfaction and creative rewards, however, come through watercolor. I love the fluidity and interactive quality of the medium. While painting "Dance of the Aurora Moon-Bear" the medium itself often dictated the direction for the painting. Inspired by images common to my home, the painting explores the complex dance that occurs between northern lights and earth."
