Susan Klabak pastelartist@chorus.net"Late Summer Corn" - pastel "Creating art in one form or another has been a part of my life since I've been able to hold a crayon. Pastel has been the medium I have chosen, almost exclusively, for the past 5-6 years. Pastel has an immediacy and versatility that I have not found in any other medium. The subject of this painting, as well as most of the landscapes that I paint, are found within a 25 mile radius of my home in Mazomanie. I enjoy sharing my enthusiasm for using pastel as a medium."
