Kurt Eakle eakle@charter.net "Pewit’s Nest - Summer 2004" - photography "I've enjoyed photography from an early age, but I often find that what fits in a single frame of the camera does not capture the "space" that you're trying to photograph. Since I moved to digital photography three years ago, I found software programs that are able to expand the frame by stitching together digital images. However, trying to print these with normal printers is difficult and frustrating - either they come out two inches tall on an 8 1/2 x 11 sheet, or you're back to cutting and pasting several sheets together with white lines in the seams. I use a printing service that provides archival, long-lasting prints on large photo paper. It's been great fun to see the photos expanded to an image that, I think, really captures the sense of what it was like to be there when the photograph was taken." Copyright is held by the artist.
