Tony Rajer (MFA), Art Conservator
Tony has been involved in art conservation and restoration projects for the past 20 years, initially in Madison, Wisconsin as the conservator for the State Capitol and more recently as a part-time instructor for the Department of Continuing Education at the University of Wisconsin-Madison where he has taught since 1993. He has been a Fulbright Scholar on several occasions through the State Department, and most recently has been involved in a large major international restoration project of the National Opera House in Panama City, Panama. He has also worked with many artists in helping to promote their careers and to develop the course on the business of art for continuing education. Contact Tony at: rajert@gdinet.com.

Tony has written three books (Rudy Rotter: Spirit Driven Art, 1997; Public Sculpture in Wisconsin, 1998; Paris in Panama, The Story of Roberto Lewis and his Art, 2005) and has recently completed: Museums, Zoos and Botanical Gardens of Wisconsin. He has published over 50 articles in three languages: English, Spanish, Portuguese. |
