and distance learning courses strive to meet the needs of individuals
and groups both in Madison and throughout Wisconsin.

Art programs include:
- Madison Area
Classes - Painting, drawing, fiber arts, printmaking, art history
and many other art classes and workshops are held during the regular
semester and summer schedules. These classes are often held in the evenings
and weekends and are available for beginner, intermediate, and
professional artists. Follow link for more information.
- Online Art Classes - Enroll
anytime and study at your own pace! An experienced faculty member has
written these art classes and will provide individual guidance as you
move through the course. Enjoy the convenience and flexibility of online
learning!
- Studio Painting at Green Lake - Immerse
yourself in a week of painting at the Green Lake Conference
Center. Join other painters in a hands-on studio setting overlooking
beautiful Green Lake. Participate in critiques, reflections and demonstrations
on various painting and drawing topics and techniques under the guidance
of an experienced instructor. For registration information, contact

- Wisconsin Regional
Art Program - (WRAP) - Providing noncompetitive regional exhibitions
and workshops throughout Wisconsin. At these exhibits, where original
artwork in any media is eligible, pieces are selected for an annual
statewide exhibit. This exhibit and the
annual WRAP Conference take place in Madison each September.
- Independent
Learning - Receive one-on-one instruction while enjoying the
convenience of learning at home, at your own pace. Our courses
in design, drawing or painting can be taken for credit, noncredit or
high school credit.
- School
of the Arts at Rhinelander - An extensive summertime
visual arts program including workshops in painting, drawing, sculpture,
folk arts and more is held every July in beautiful Rhinelander, Wisconsin.
