Workshop description
Considering a career change but feel overwhelmed and confused about how to get started? Get the process moving at this orientation workshop where you will learn about:
- the career planning process
- local and online resources available to you
- clarifying a path to a more fulfilling career

Are you looking for specific ideas and steps to take to get the career change process started? Wondering about what resources are available and how to use them effectively? This is the workshop for you!

Career Change 101 is facilitated by experienced, caring career counselors from the Adult and Student Services. We look forward to helping adults seeking a more fulfilling work life.

Location: Verona Public Library, 500 Silent St, Verona (map)
Fee: free
Registration deadline: Register by November 14, 2008 to secure your place in the workshop.
Parking: Free parking at the library.
Cancellation Policy: If the workshop is filled when we receive your registration we will put you on a waiting list. We reserve the right to cancel the workshop and return your payment if registrations are below minimum enrollment. After registration deadline dates, no refunds will be made for participant’s cancellation of registration. To cancel please contact Adult and Student Services at 608-263-6960 or assc@dcs.wisc.edu

Miscellaneous: Casual and comfortable dress is appropriate. Be prepared for fluctuating temperatures in the meeting room. A sweater or jacket may be desirable.
