Passport Series: Italian culture and language for travel

Whether you’ve been there or always dreamed about going to Italy, this two-part workshop gives you the skills and confidence you need for successful cross-cultural interactions. Learn about Italian culture, along with some basic phrases with an experienced Italian instructor who has lived, studied, and traveled throughout Italy.

Oregon Shakespeare Festival

Medieval Alsace and the Rhine Valley

The Mediterranean lifestyle

Start the New Year eating the traditional 12 grapes in the Mediterranean sea. This two-week hands-on experience explores the Mediterranean’s ancient cultures, cuisine, music, and art. Cook paella, pick Valencia oranges, and go to the Alicante fish market auction. Take part in Barcelona cultural events and a cruise to Palma de Mayorca, where you are surrounded by warm waters, white sand beaches, and tropical trees (palm, aloe, orange, lemon, fig, pomegranate).
