The required textbook is used in both Section 1 and Section 2: Ventures Level 1 Student's Book with Audio CD, 2nd edition.

English Level Test


Practice pronunciation, conversation, and listening, and learn common vocabulary for talking about school, yourself, your family, and your health. This course is open to anyone with at least a high-beginning English level. If you already know basic English (e.g. greetings, the simple present tense, letters and numbers, etc.), you can increase your knowledge and become more comfortable using English in this course. Take this online test to help you determine your level: english-in-chester.co.uk/enrol/test-your-english/test. (If your result is “Elementary” or “Pre-Intermediate,” then this is the right course for you.)

You may take both Section 1 and Section 2 or just choose one of the courses. No other course is necessary before you take this course. The required textbook is used in both Section 1 and Section 2: Ventures Level 1 Student's Book with Audio CD, 2nd edition.
