Funding and Academic Planning for Nontraditional Audiences

Continuing Studies provides fiscal support for credit and noncredit programming to nontraditional audiences with various funding mechanisms, including but not limited to Fund 104 funding in partnership with UW-Extension.

When working with new nontraditional student audiences, schools/colleges can utilize program revenue funding models. You can also review material from the campus-wide Educational Innovation effort for additional information on serving nontraditional audiences and program revenue opportunities.

These mechanisms have different requirements and restrictions; contact Katy Duren (kduren@dcs.wisc.edu) to discuss which funding mechanism is the best fit for your needs, or if you have questions about credit courses for nontraditional audiences.
