Join us for a trip to where the artistic legacy is truly second to none: The Netherlands. We’ll visit the major museums seeking out the finest examples of Dutch Art in this friendly and lovely corner of Europe.

We’ll fly to Brussels and transfer the short distance to Maastricht where we’ll spend two nights exploring the Spanish and Roman history of this unique city. From there we’ll drive to Ghent to view the incomparable oil painting by the first master of the medium, Jan Van Eyck; his astonishing masterpiece, Adoration of the Mystic Lamb (The Ghent Altarpiece), ending our day in the quintessential Dutch city of Delft.

From Delft we’ll take the short drive to Den Haag for a morning viewing the collection in The Gemeentemuseum, which will also be housing masterpieces from The Mauritshuis Museum which is undergoing renovations, so we’ll get two collections in one, concluding our day at our hotel in Amsterdam.

Five nights in Amsterdam will give us enough time to explore the collections at The Rijksmuseum, The Van Gogh Museum and the Rembrandt House without rushing around, and you’ll have plenty of time visit many of the other sites of your own choosing in this extraordinary city. We’ll take a day-trip that will include the Zeiderzee Museum in Enkhuizen and the Franz Hals Museum in Haarlem, and a half-day trip to the world-renowned Kroller-Muller Museum in De Hoge Veluwe National Park, giving you an amazing art education opportunity.
