Announcing the 46th annual School of the Arts at Rhinelander: July 19-24, 2009

 

Make this your summer to learn, share, and enjoy the arts in beautiful northern Wisconsin!

 

The School of the Arts at Rhinelander is a multidisciplinary, hands-on arts program for adults. Each summer more than 300 people gather in northern Wisconsin for one week of intensive learning and creative activity to study with more than 30 instructors. The program is held at the James Williams Middle School in Rhinelander. Continuing Education Units (CEUs) and optional graduate credit are available.

Classes/workshops are offered in art and folk art, computer skills, mind, body & spirit, music, photography, small business and nonprofit development, theatre and drama, and writing.

Student & Staff Social

Being socialSunday, July 19 Check in and on-site registration will take place from 2:00-5:00 pm on Sunday, July 20 at James Williams Middle School. Following registration, School of the Arts 2008 kicks off at 5:00 pm with a student and staff social. Refreshments will be provided.

Past Participant BRING-A-FRIEND Discount

Best friendsPast participants who enroll in the full day SOA workshop are invited to take advantage of the new "Bring-a- Friend" discount. If a new participant who has never attended SOA before comes to the 2009 workshop, the past-participant sponsor and new participant would each pay $299 for a full day of classes (a $50 discount for each person). Please note that only one Bring-a-Friend discount is allowed per participant. If you decide to take advantage of this great offer, please complete the "Bring a Friend" section on your enrollment form. Make sure that your "friend" indicates you as the past participant/sponsor in the "Bring-a-Friend" section on his/her enrollment form. If your friend does not enroll and attend, you will be responsible for the remaining $50 of your registration fees upon arrival at School of the Arts.

Sunrise Series

SunriseEarly risers can join us for free early morning yoga from 7:15 am to 8 am Monday through Friday, July 19 24. No registration is required for this opportunity and community members are welcome.
