Literature programs include:
- Madison Area Literature Classes - Classes
for adults, and morning book talks at
the Madison Public Library, provide convenient and enriching opportunities
to explore both classic and current popular literature. Different programs
each semester. You will find descriptions of all current literature
programs in the UW-Madison Continuing
Studies catalog.
- The
Courage to Write - The award winning series of audio programs
and guides on women novelists and poets.
An ideal resource for individual booklovers, teachers, and commuters
or for libraries, radio stations, schools, retirement centers, and book
groups. Choose from five different periods or authors.
- Independent
Learning - Distance education courses in literature allow you to
learn at your own pace and in the comfort
of your own home. A variety of classes are available for noncredit,
college credit or high school credit.
- Emeritus
Lecture Series - "Eloquence & Eminence" is an annual
series of free lectures given by retired University of Wisconsin-Madison
faculty known for their teaching excellence and expertise. E-mail Emily
