ACHE (Assn for Cont Higher Ed) conference went very well; session on “Blitz”—a 3-day workshop to reduce number of touches, paper and time on a process by 50%

Miranda reported on the Academic Staff Assembly meeting. Meetings are every second Monday of the month. Issues discussed included telecommuting policy and security of equipment at home; TERs and requirement to provide meeting agendas from conferences; Sick Leave and requirement for doctor’s excuse after 5 days.
Moira discussed her participation in the Employee Resource Fair. She suggested we need better coordination so we don’t have multiple tables at the fair next year.

Christina continues working on staff profiles.
